GRIDLY respects your privacy and aims to collect only the information reasonably necessary to provide and maintain its features.
FAVORITES
GRIDLY does not require an account to save Favorites. Favorites are stored locally in your browser and are not stored in a GRIDLY user database.
GRIDLY does not collect your name, Second Life username, email address, or other personal information when you add or remove a Favorite.
RATINGS
GRIDLY uses a browser-generated identifier to help prevent duplicate ratings and allow an existing rating to be updated. The identifier is transformed before it is stored by GRIDLY.
Rating records may include the location being rated, the rating, a pseudonymous identifier, and related timestamps.
GRIDLY does not intentionally store your IP address in its ratings database and does not associate a rating with your Second Life username, email address, or real-life name.
Human verification for ratings may be provided by Cloudflare Turnstile. Cloudflare may process technical information necessary to provide its security and anti-bot service according to its own privacy practices.
SUBMISSIONS
When you use the Submit to GRIDLY form, you voluntarily provide information that may include a Second Life username, event or location information, SLURLs, websites, social media links, images, and any additional information you choose to submit.
GRIDLY uses this information to review, manage, verify, and, when appropriate, publish or maintain listings on GRIDLY.
Please only submit information that you are authorized to share.
Submission forms are processed using Tally, a third-party form service.
LOCAL STORAGE
Some GRIDLY features use your browser's local storage to provide functionality such as Favorites and rating identification.
Information stored locally remains on your browser or device unless it is removed through your browser settings or otherwise cleared from that device.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
GRIDLY may use third-party services to provide certain features, including Tally for submissions and Cloudflare Turnstile for security and human verification.
GRIDLY also contains links to Second Life locations, websites, social media platforms, booking pages, event pages, and other external services.
These third-party services have their own privacy practices and policies. GRIDLY does not control how external websites or services process information after you leave GRIDLY or interact directly with them.
DATA RETENTION
Information submitted directly to GRIDLY may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to review, publish, maintain, or manage a listing, respond to a request, maintain site security, or operate the relevant GRIDLY feature.
YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
You may contact GRIDLY to ask about personal information you have submitted, or to request correction or deletion when applicable.
